Baby Brant is Here!

I was so happy to be in Baton Rouge this weekend to meet Baby Brant, my friend Emelie's precious new son. I stopped by on Friday, but the sweet little thing was so sleepy the whole time. I made another visit on my way back home and after a little cuddling from Mama, he finally opened his big baby blues! Love him! 

The Big Dipper

My sorority little sister and long-time friend Laurie is getting married next fall and I was super excited to take her engagement photos with her fiancé Jacob.  We had quite a day - gallivanting around all over LSU and downtown Baton Rouge, and he was a total trooper.  And he developed his own signature pose - the dip!  It was a great day with a great couple!

Play Date with Annie Grace

Headed to Baton Rouge for the weekend, but I decided to make an overnight pit-stop in Jackson to visit my dear friends Paul and Julie. Their sweet daughter, Annie Grace, didn't quite stay awake until I arrived, but in the morning, we had a very fun, though quick, little play date.  She's such a little beauty!  Can't wait for her little sister to arrive this summer!

Baby Blake

Was in Chicago this week for a conference, but managed to find time to squeeze in a quick visit with my dear friend Aja and her sweet new baby boy Blake. Precious!

Happy Mardi Gras

It's been a LONG Mardi Gras season which means by Mardi Gras tree has been up for over two months. I was definitely sad to put up all of the decor tonight - the whole place just looks so un-festive. Oh well - onward to St. Patty's Day and Easter!

Two Little Piggies

I had such a blast with EMB this weekend. As Angie says, she is at such a great age - so active and fun, but still so sweet!  And she's got just enough hair for two tiny little pigtails!

Miss Zoe

Spent the weekend in Fayetteville with EMB, Angie and Sidney and was so glad to get the chance to photograph EMB's very best friend, Zoe, and her sweet parents. Mary and Terrence are some of Angie and Sid's closest friends and I've been dying to photograph Miss Zoe ever since she was born.  What a sweetheart!
