Down by the River

Back in Memphis and time for more Christmas card pics with the adorable Jeff & Katie. I've had the chance to take their pics for the past 2 years (2010 & 2011) and this year, we headed down to Mud Island just as the sun was setting. Good looking backdrop for some good looking kids!

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

And then finally it was Maxwell and Murphy's turn for Christmas cards pics!  Cat had just gotten home from a trip so they were so excited to see her that they had a little bit of a hard time sitting still, but I think we have some winners in here!  It's amazing to watch them grow - I love looking back at their Christmas card pics from 2010 & 2011!

Family Pics at the Temple

Next up was more of Maxwell & Murphy's buddies - Will and Reeves and their parents. This time, we head up to the amazing grounds of the Masonic Temple outside DC for some family shots. I got to take Reeves and Will's pictures last year so it was great to have Mom and Dad jump in too!

Fun in Old Town

I was in DC for work this weekend and managed to squeeze in some fun photo shoots with some of Cat's friends. First up was Ali and her two kids, Stella & Fitch. Ali and Cat have been friends since I was in middle school so I always love getting to visit with her and have loved getting to know her sweet kiddos! We had so much fun around Old Town!

Trolley Chasers

Let the holiday season begin!  Not only did I start listening to Christmas music this week, I also had my first official Christmas card shoot of the season... and I'm looking forward to several more over the coming weeks so stay tuned. First up was my friend Melissa's kids, Jack & Ragan. This was my third year to photograph them (2010 & 2011) and it's amazing to see how much they have grown. With these two, we always make sure to add in some Memphis flair so we chased down some trolleys and made a stop by the river at sunset!

Love & Basketball

I was so excited when my friend and former co-worker, Tiffany, asked me to do a quick engagement shoot with her and her new fiance down at the FedEx Forum - the place where they met.  I loved hearing their story - it was totally fate!  Each of them was supposed to have another date for the night, but both others fell through so they ended up going to a Grizzlies game just the two of them - and that was it!  Love it - and I love even more seeing how happy Tiffany is and how much Ricky is clearly head over heels for her. Makes my heart happy!  Tiff - you're going to be a beautiful bride!
