My friend, Amy, is pretty inspirational. She's one of those perky, smart, loving, kind blondes, the type that you might dislike if you didn't know that all of that goodness comes from her good, good heart and her strong Christian faith. Therefore, I should have known that the book that she raved about over lunch today would be shelved under "Christian Inspiration." According to Amy's improptu book report, Donald Miller's A Million Miles in a Thousand Years is about a man who, when his life is being made into a movie, realizes it’s pretty boring… and then takes steps to re-edit his movie and change his life. I haven’t even cracked the spine yet, but I’m already inspired… Thanks, Amy!

Day 20: Moment of Truth
Had lunch today with some of my married friends which naturally led to talk about setting single me up on a date. As we discussed “my type,” I couldn’t help but think back on all of my many crushes over the years… If only I knew then what I know now…
