Over the past few years, I've had to go to NYC for work, but never seem to have much time for sight-seeing. So this time, when I had a trip scheduled, I invited a partner in crime to join me in playing tourist around the city. Emelie and I covered some pretty serious ground - 9/11 Memorial, Staten Island Ferry, Wall Street, Chinatown, SoHo, Broadway, Times Square, the Top of the Rock, 5th Avenue, FAO Schwarz and Central Park... all in 48 hours. No wonder I'm totally exhausted.

Empire State of Mind
I was up in New York this weekend to help out with their St. Jude Give thanks. Walk. which took place across the Brooklyn Bridge - so cool! We did have to make some quick course changes the day before to avoid all of the Occupy Wall Street protests, but otherwise, everything couldn't have gone smoother. What an amazing setting for a great event!

Day 168: Small Town USA
Hit the pavement today to promote an upcoming fundraiser at work and ended up exploring many parts of Memphis I have never seen before. I ended up at the Collierville Square, which was as charming and quaint as promised. There were lots of great backdrops for pictures and I could envision a great photo shoot there. Any takers?
