Brotherly Love

Such a treat to get to visit my dear friend Laurie and meet her precious new little man, Colby, just 6 days old! I've gotten to photograph Colby's big brother, Cooper, since his newborn photos and it was so fun to see these two together. Like any good big brother, Cooper is trying out all of Colby's toys first and photobombing as much as he can. Can't wait to watch these two grow up!

Pretty in Pink

No better way to spend a Saturday morning that snuggling with a sweet little during a newborn session! I was so flattered when my friend and co-worker Sarah asked me to capture the very first photos of Baby Elle! She is such a living doll!

Fun with the Villanes

My first official photo shoot of 2015 gave me the chance to meet up with one of my favorite families. I've had the chance to photo shoot Katie, Wes and their sweet kiddos over the past few years so I was thrilled when they asked for a full family photo shoot as a gift for the grandparents! Love catching up with this crew and watching the kids grow!

Monkeying Around Arlington

Made my first trip to the very cute Arlington Square for a photo shoot with the equally as cute family of my co-worker, Rachel. The kids had a great time exploring all of the fun shops. The littlest, Addy, wanted nothing to do with the camera at first, but thankfully I had my new secret weapon on hand. For Christmas, I got some sock monkey mittens in a Dirty Santa game; at first, I was a little bit leery of them, but quickly realized that thy would be the perfect attention-grabber for photo shoots. Once we started a rousing game of "throw the monkey," she was all smiles! Such a sweet family to start the weekend.

Big Family Christmas

Once I came home from my quiet Christmas in Louisiana, I still had one last (BIG!) photo shoot scheduled. My friend Katie was in town gathering with her husband's entire family for the first time in 3 years - and the first time since all 4 great-grandkids were born. What a better time for family photos! I've had the fortune to meet several members of the family during some previous shoots, but it was fun to see them all together! What sweet memories for this big, loving family!
