Mother's Day with Mama Cat

In addition to Murphy's birthday, it was also so special to spend Mother's Day with Cat, especially with her being just a few weeks away from welcoming Baby #3! We figured we had to commemorate the occasion with a Mother's Day photo shoot. :) These kiddos love their mama!

Baby on the Way

I had two fun photo shoots on Saturday. First up was my friend Nicole's sister, Courtney, who is 7 months pregnant! Nicole asked me if she could surprise Courtney with a maternity photo shoot for her birthday. I hadn't really done this before, but I was totally game and we had a great time!  We went out to Collierville Square to take advantage of all of its great little charm and were excited when we stumbled on our BIG prop at the local farm stand.  Courtney - thank you so much for being my guinea pig! I hope you enjoy and I can't wait to photograph your sweet little one when she arrives in September!

Playing the Waiting Game

This week has dragged on and I think it's all because we are all patiently waiting for my friend and co-worker, Misty, to have her baby!  She was due last week so pretty much everyday this week has been full of uncertainty of what might happen and whether she would be back at work the next day.  Neither Misty or I are big fans of maternity photos, but we figured going 9 days past her due date was too big of a milestone not to capture so we headed down to Mud Island for a few shots this morning.  She's a beautiful mama-to-be and is going to be a great mama very soon!  Be on the lookout for photos coming soon of Baby Tapp!
