Short Stack

It's always such a treat when I get to photograph newborns, but it's a true blessing when the newborn's mama is one of my dearest friends. Little Charlie is the almost two-week-old son of my longtime co-worker and sweet friend, Amy. He might be tiny, but he sure made us work for these photos. We went through several bottles, diapers and outfit changes (including one too-tiny newborn outfit that had to be cut off!), but he always seemed to rest most comfortably in his mama's arms. What a lucky little guy to have such a wonderful mom (& dad)!
