Monkeying Around Arlington

Made my first trip to the very cute Arlington Square for a photo shoot with the equally as cute family of my co-worker, Rachel. The kids had a great time exploring all of the fun shops. The littlest, Addy, wanted nothing to do with the camera at first, but thankfully I had my new secret weapon on hand. For Christmas, I got some sock monkey mittens in a Dirty Santa game; at first, I was a little bit leery of them, but quickly realized that thy would be the perfect attention-grabber for photo shoots. Once we started a rousing game of "throw the monkey," she was all smiles! Such a sweet family to start the weekend.

Mama's Boy

Always a treat to spend time with my dear friend Emelie and her little nugget, Brant, while I’m home in Baton Rouge! With Baby Boy due mid-summer, we figured it was the perfect for some mommy-son photos at the park.

Lucky in Love

So flattered when my friend Page asked me to take her engagement photos this weekend!  Page and I are in the Junior League together and it has been so much fun hearing about her wedding planning over the past few months. And it meant I finally got to meet Ben! Turns out we all had more mutual friends than we realized, which made the visiting even more fun. Anyway, it was a perfect Saturday morning to roam around both Mud Island and South Main for some photos. We made sure to stop by Tug's where they had the 1st date and South of Beale, another of their favorite spots. What a sweet, sweet couple!

All Together Again

So, so glad when I found that my recent work trip to DC would overlap with Angie & Elizabeth's trip to visit Cat, Malloy & the kiddos. So much fun watching them play together! Then as an added bonus, we ended up with a snow day on Monday - no work, no school!

Oh the Places You'll Go

What a treat - today I got to attend this precious boy's 1st birthday party! I met William a year ago for his newborn photos and it's so fun to see how big he is now! He's walking and clapping and just so cute - look at those eyes! I had a blast crawling around on the floor with William and all of his little buddies and listening to Miss Amy read some Dr. Seuss! What a blessed little boy to be surrounded by so many people who love him so.

New Year, New Little Face

First photo shoot of 2014 and I couldn't have asked for a sweeter subject. My co-worker Casey gave birth to her little guy right before the holidays and I was so excited to meet him. Sweet William was sleepy at first, but once he finally popped those eyes open, he locked on to the camera and wouldn't look away. And Casey's mom, his "CC," did a great job at making him smile! Such a precious way to start the year!
