Day 46: Close to Home

Throughout my time at St. Jude, I have had the chance to meet countless amazing families of our precious patients.  This past week, it hit a little bit closer to home when the young daughter of a high school friend was admitted with leukemia.  It makes me more and more grateful for the welcoming and healing arms of our hospital and for the opportunity to work for such a great cause.  I'm so proud to play a small part in this precious little girl's treatment.

    I think the work you do at St. Jude's is amazing! I thought about you as I heard about our high school friend. Thank you for what you do!
