Day 78: Grandparents' Day

Today was Grandparents' Day at my boss's daughter's school, which reminded me of my own favorite Grandparents' Day in the 5th grade. My sister was out sick from school that day so I got Mama Jean and Papa Roger all to myself.  They brought along this little double frame with their pictures in it, which still sits by my bed today. Hard to believe this was 18 years ago!  Their hair may be grayer, but they still have the same sweet spirits as they did back then.  Above all, ironically, it's my grandfather's birthday today. Happy birthday, Papa Roger! 81 years young!
