Day 190: Field Trip

For the next year, I'll be tackling the role of photographer for the Junior League of Memphis, which brought me to today's location. The Hattiloo Theatre is a black repertory theatre in downtown Memphis, which in conjunction with the Junior League, has turned itself into a Black Theatre Museum this summer to teach children about the evolution of African Americans on stage and screen. My assignment today was to capture both the museum and its players and the children it is serving this summer.  More JLM assignments coming soon...
