Day 32: Simple Monday Supper
It's Louisiana tradition to make red beans and rice on Mondays. In the past, Monday was always "wash-day" so while the women were doing their laundry, they could soak the red beans all day. Now, my beans are just from a can, but they still make a perfect supper to start off the work week.
