Lamas & Pigtails

Wrapped up my quick trip to Fayetteville with another trip up to the U of A campus to see the sand mandala  with Angie and Elizabeth.  The sand mandala is a Tibetan Buddhist tradition through which the monks used grains of colored sand to create a graphic representation of the core values of the Buddhist philosophy. This was originally used to explain Buddhism to people who couldn't read. Fascinating!  While on campus, EMB got to meet up with some of her monk buddies, whom she collectively refers to as "lamas" and pose for Aunt Marcie! She's such a sweetheart and at such a cute age!
